1. Introduction

Welcome to BattleVerse (referred to as "BattleVerse", "the Platform", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms & Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "Player", "you", or "your") and BattleVerse (the "Platform Operator"), governing your access to and use of the BattleVerse website, mobile application, services, and participation in esports tournaments hosted on our platform.

By creating an account, depositing entry fees, or participating in any tournament, you expressly acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund & Cancellation Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must immediately cease using the platform.

2. Eligibility & Parental Consent

To participate in cash-prize tournaments on BattleVerse, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction).
• If you are under 18 years of age, you may only access the platform and join tournaments with the explicit consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who must agree to be bound by these terms.
• Not reside in a jurisdiction where participation in skill-based tournaments with entry fees and cash prizes is prohibited by local laws. Users are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with their local regulations.
• Provide accurate country and state/UT information during registration. BattleVerse currently supports registrations from India only.

3. User Accounts & Security

To access platform services, you must register a unique user account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete registration info. You are entirely responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials (including login details and two-factor authentication tokens).
• All activities that occur under your account.
• Promptly notifying support of any unauthorized use or security breaches.

BattleVerse reserves the right to terminate accounts that use proxy IP addresses, virtual private networks (VPNs), fake names, or duplicate registration patterns to execute multi-accounting fraud.

4. Tournament Participation Rules

BattleVerse organizes competitive skill-based online tournaments. By registering for a tournament, you agree to:

• Follow the specific game rules, map requirements, team size rules (Solo, Duo, Squad), and match schedules.
• Pay the specified entry fee using our integrated payment processors. Entry fees are pooled to fund the prize pool and support administrative operating overheads.
• Join the designated custom rooms on time. Failure to join the lobby before the start time results in automatic disqualification without refund.

5. Fair Play & Anti-Cheat Policy

BattleVerse maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards cheating and unsportsmanlike behavior. The following are strictly prohibited:

• **Hacks and Cheats**: Using third-party software, scripts, aimbots, wallhacks, ESP, or hardware modifications that alter game files or offer an unfair advantage.
• **Emulators**: Accessing mobile-only lobbies via PC emulators (BlueStacks, LDPlayer, etc.) when the tournament description explicitly bans emulator access.
• **Exploits**: Deliberately abusing in-game glitches, terrain bugs, or network manipulation (ping exploits).
• **Teaming & Match-Fixing**: Cooperating with enemy teams or arranging matches to manipulate scoreboards and tournament payouts.

**Penalties**: Any user found violating the Fair Play policy will be instantly disqualified from the tournament, forfeit any accrued prizes, face permanent account suspension, and will receive **no refunds** of any kind.

6. Prohibited Activities

Users are prohibited from engaging in:

• Harassment, hate speech, toxicity, or abuse towards other gamers or BattleVerse staff.
• Money laundering, processing fraudulent credit cards, or making unauthorized chargebacks.
• Attempting to reverse-engineer, exploit, or execute cyberattacks against BattleVerse APIs, databases, or client-side interfaces.

7. Account Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently delete your account, freeze wallet balances, and restrict access to the platform at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if we investigate and determine that you have violated these Terms & Conditions, engaged in fraud, or violated fair-play guidelines.

8. Prize Distribution Policy

Prizes are distributed based on leaderboard standings, tournament match results, and point distributions. The following terms apply to payouts:

• **Verification**: All match recordings, screenshot submissions, and system logs are subject to review by BattleVerse moderators before payouts are credited.
• **Disputes**: If a match result is disputed, participants must submit video evidence within 15 minutes of match completion.
• **Finality**: The decision of the BattleVerse administration regarding tournament placements, point distribution, disqualifications, and prize allocations is final and binding.
• **Taxes**: Users are solely responsible for filing and paying any local, state, or federal taxes associated with cash winnings.

9. Tournament Modifications

BattleVerse reserves the right to reschedule, modify lobby rules, adjust prize pool distributions, or cancel tournaments due to server outages, game updates, low registration counts, or force majeure events. If the platform cancels a tournament before its scheduled start time, registered participants will receive a full refund of entry fees to their wallet balance.

10. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring that you have a stable internet connection, a compatible gaming device, and an active game account (e.g. Free Fire) matching your registered gaming handles. BattleVerse is not liable for disconnects, device crashes, network latency, or input lag.

11. Intellectual Property

All text, graphics, logos, layouts, buttons, audio clips, and software on BattleVerse are the exclusive property of BattleVerse or its content creators. You may not copy, scrape, distribute, or modify any proprietary branding assets without prior written consent. All third-party game names, assets, and images (e.g., Garena Free Fire) are trademarks of their respective owners.

12. Limitation of Liability

BattleVerse, its operators, employees, or representatives shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the platform, tournament outcomes, server downtimes, disconnection from game servers, or loss of profits, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

13. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes, claims, or controversies arising out of or relating to these Terms & Conditions, account access, or tournament payouts shall first be directed to the support team for an amicable resolution. If support negotiations fail, disputes will be governed by the laws of the operating headquarters jurisdiction, and users consent to exclusive jurisdiction in local courts.
